Jones, Jr.," not dated [circa 1950s]; letterhead with later addition of a partial sheet of Bobby Jones 18 cent postage stamps; presented in a metal frame.

Robert (Bobby) Jones was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia and started playing golf at a young age. In 1930 he won all four major tournaments: the British Amateur, the British Open, the U.S. Open, and the U.S. Amateur. During the height of his career as a golfer, Jones graduated from law school and he went on to practice law as his primary profession. While he retired from golf competitions at the young age of 28, Jones continued to make a significant impact on the sport in a variety of ways, including serving as co-founder of the Masters Tournament.
