"This book is dedicated entirely to the last works of Matisse: 1950-1954. Reproduced in colour lithography, these works were executed by the artist with papers colored in gouache, cut with scissors and pasted. They are shown here with drawings produced at the same time or during the preceding period."

Boards with minor grime and some edge wear, the spine strip loose with tearing to paper along spine and large losses to strip at ends; very good internally, the text block with only light age toning and handling wear, a couple of leaves with mild edge wear, foxing to rear endpapers, and rare offsetting; jacket present but in poor condition.
