Jean-Pierre Dolla is a French abstract painter known for his vibrant, expressive compositions and richly textured surfaces. Educated at the École des Arts Décoratifs in Grenoble and the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris, he transitioned from figuration to abstraction, drawing inspiration from artists such as Nicolas de Staël and Jackson Pollock. A recipient of the Prix de la Critique in 1971, Dolla has exhibited extensively in France and abroad.
