Antique Gold and Gem-Set Micromosaic Dog Motif Pendant

The oval bezel set micromosaic on black onyx depicting a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel seated on grass, in a conforming surround with scroll and floral engraved details, the border set with eight modified sugarloaf cut green tourmalines, the reverse with oval aperture set with a white glass tablet engraved and dated Anne Greenhow / May 27th, 1847, the whole completed with a fixed bail, testing 14KT.
