Early 20th century, hand-painted and gilt porcelain, marked with Samson underglaze blue faux Meissen marks to the reverse, incised "B" to the underside, the composition inspired by a mid-18th c. model by the Meissen sculptor Johann Joachim Kandler (1706-1775).
