Plymouth, Connecticut, first half of 19th century, time and strike weight driven wood gear movement, retains maker's label to the inteior, the gilt decorated wooden dial with hand-painted Roman numerals, the case of mahogany veneers with inlaid key escutcheon, featuring pediment scrolls topped with brass urn finials, fully turned columns flanking a hinged door with lower eglomisé glass panel depicting a shoreline estate.
