Late 19th century, (9) pieces, including: small lobed saucer with ship scene (0.5 x 5.6 in.) with "S. & M." maker's mark; (8) plates (ranging 7-9 in. diameter), two Etruscan Majolicas with mark of Griffen, Smith & Hill of of Phoenixville, Pennsylvania (larger 8 7/8 in. diameter), three marked Choisy-le-Rois (7 3/4 in. diameter).
Some small chips to rims; varying crazing; ship saucer with four places of fill and touch up, one to face and three to underside; largest plate with a few hairline cracks to the wide lip, chips to bowl and rim, and "370" marked to underside; larger Etruscan plate with sealed crack; one Choisy-le-Rois with chip to underside at maker's mark.
