Sturdy boards with some wear to extremities, scuffing, occasional tears or fraying to cloth, and labels rubbed with a few with small chips or staining; some spines with slight separation from text block; toning mostly to spines and edges, and some volumes with foxing (concentrated on boards and endpapers); typical variation in paper color from light gray to blue; text blocks with occasional gutter wear and offsetting, rare hinge cracking, and with infrequent small stain or folded page, otherwise clean with minimal handling wear; one volume with a minor insect hole; four volumes unnumbered; many volumes retain ribbon bookmark and three with the majority of leaves still partially unopened. An approaching very good set.
