Early 19th century, mahogany veneers, pine secondary, with inlaid key escutcheon, elliptical shell and acorn plume inlays to the obverse and lid centers respectively, surrounded by barber pole and line perimeter inlays, opens to a vacant interior with remnants of the interior lining, unmarked.
