19th-early 20th century, English and German, including six hand-painted and gilt ceramic forms: the largest a majolica tobacco box form with variegated glaze, removable lid opening at the neck, marked indistinctly to the underside (8 x 8 x 5 1/2 in.); (5) porcelain models, including (2) seated fawn coat pugs with bell collars, the taller incised "1560 III" to the underside (4 1/8 in.), the shorter unmarked (3 1/4 in.); a seated white fawn pug with blue collar, unmarked (4 1/2 in.); a larger standing Staffordshire type fawn model, unmarked (7 1/2 x 7 1/2 x 4 in.); and a standing white fawn model, unmarked (5 x 6 x 2 1/2 in.); also included in the group is a vintage brass seated model, unmarked.

Overall good condition; some scattered rubbing to the paint and gilt; a few firing cracks dating to the making.
