Hand built by Dr. John E Chandler III of Greensboro, NC. John graduated from UNC School of Dentistry in 1967, and was a life long artisan who used his dentistry skills to build with exquisite detail more than 15 ship models. One of his models, the Elizabeth Il has been displayed in the NC Museum in Raleigh and is now part of the permanent collection in the Historical Museum in Manteo.

A minor chip to bottom of rudder, flag pole broken and missing from the stern, a small repaired chip to one anchor.
