Late 18th century, mahogany veneers, each of hinge-lidded serpentine form with line inlay borders, now open interior, flush base, one featuring silver mounted escutcheon and oval ring mount to the lid (15 x 9 x 12 1/2 in.), the other with inlaid kite key escutcheon (14 3/4 x 9 1/4 x 14 in.)
Both with areas of veneer and inlay scratches, losses, cracks and areas of veneer repair; no longer retaining divided cutlery interiors.
