Robert Boudry was a Belgian painter educated at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp under Eugène Joors, Pieter Verhaert, Frans Van Leemputten, and Albrecht De Vriendt. Best known for his atmospheric depictions of old Antwerp streets, harbor districts, landscapes, coastal scenes, and still lifes, he developed a luminous style distinguished by its sensitive handling of light and color. Boudry exhibited widely in Belgium, including at the Exposition des Beaux-Arts in Spa and the Wijnhuis in Antwerp.
