CDVs, the first circa May 1865, attributed John Goldin Studio, when Custer was in Washington D.C. for Grand Review celebration, rule border featuring seated Custer, the front and reverse with together three pencil inscriptions "Custer," bears no backmark, (4 x 2.5 in.); the second appears to be pasted CDV (3 x 1.5 in.).
Private Collection, Spencer, North Carolina The first with some loss to rule border in small places; scratch to surface at bottom left corner of photograph, small pierced hole and wear in bottom right corner; the second with patina and yellowing to paper, crease in top left corner.
