Born in Greenville, North Carolina, Highsmith earned his B.S. from NC State University's School of Design. He is a full-time painter with works in many public and private collections including the NC Museum of Art in Raleigh and the Greenville Museum of Art.

Minor nick to frame; otherwise in very good estate condition.
