Circa 1850, (252) tin-glazed earthenware tiles, hand-painted Neoclassical garlands and urns, cherub busts, and recumbent griffons, in a palette of yellow, manganese, copper green, and cobalt, festoon a central blue and white oval scene of Chinoiserie figures in a boat, now framed and mounted on (4) cradled wood panel sections, includes cleat hardware for wall display.

152 1/2 x 50 x 2 1/4 in.; largest of the (4) sections (far left panel) 50 x 51 5/8 x 2 1/4 in.; tiles measure approximately 5 3/8 x 5 3/8 in.
