Pisgah Forest Pottery, A Collection of Seven Blue Crackle Glazed Vases

Arden, North Carolina, vitreous semi-porcelain stoneware, bulbous squat forms with collared mouth, turquoise crackle glaze exterior and soft pink interior, most with "Pisgah Forest" potter at the wheel embossed marks, dates include: largest two with 1939 and 1940 "Pisgah Forest" marks (6 x 6 1/2 x 6 1/2 in.); another two slightly smaller with 1941 and 1951 date marks; a single with 1949 Walter B. Stephens" mark (4 1/4 x 5 x 5 in.), and two other small vases with "Pisgah Forest" 1951 and 1991 marks.
