Printed cotton, hand quilted, mid 20th century; the first an Irish Chain pattern of orange squares on a blue field with yellow sawtooth border, and cross in square, top wrapped to back with no binding, red print backing (73 1/2 x 81 in.); the second late 19th or early 20th century, with large blocks featuring green cross motifs on yellow with sawtooth borders, outer border of green bowtie motifs on printed cinnamon pink, green print binding, backing fabric printed with deco stripe and oval design in browns and reds, with cross-stitched "C" to one corner (76 x 91 in.).
