1962, wool, made by maker named Masallah, woven in slit-weave tapestry technique, with two halves joined in center, the red field with repeating hexagonal medallions within diamond shaped lozenges with hooked edges, surrounded by geometricized floral clusters, the taupe border with twining geometric foliate motifs, the fringe to one end with decorative clusters, with label to verso indicating made in Turkey.
