Patinated bronze balanced as a pendulum within a conforming carved marble stand, beveled bronze base incised and dated "M. Steinmetz '02."

The form and materials are very similar to designs by the late sculptor, Wayne Trapp. For a similar form, see Rago Auction, Sep 18, 2025, Lot 194. The inscription "M. Steinmetz" or "M. Stonemason" may be an erroneous signature by the artist.

Good estate condition; a few areas of oxidation and surface marks and scratches.
