Worked in silk threads on loose weave linen, the top register composed of four alphanumeric rows, center register with lower case alphabet and stitching to read, "mary hamersher / work was done at elizabeth reeve / school in the year of our lord 1816," bottom register with alphabet and stylized trees and birds.
