Both worked in silk on silk ground, the first with various motifs to include animals, a building, flower-filled urns and trees, dated to top register "ANNO / 1706" and within a two row floral border (DOA 18 1/8 x 14.5 in.) (with loss; some staining); the second finely worked and with alphanumerical rows to top register above pious verse, with verse to friendship, two panels with various motifs to include a house, birds, and trees, stitched to bottom register with maker's name and date, "Mary Rose Her Work Aged 11 Years 17?7" (DOA 20 x 15 in.) (with areas of repairs; some loss; color run).
