Two Bull Durham Tobacco Advertising Lithographs

The first is a 13 x 22 in. promotion, circa 1900, titled "Bull Durham's Trip Around the World," advertising a free "souvenir postal card with each 5 cent bag of Bull Durham," this poster mounted to a board amid 32 post cards, 30 of which feature a different country with semi-comic verse and graphics., while two cards are devoted to Bull Durham tobacco. Presented in a gesso and wood frame with gilt beaded liner (DOA 38.25 x 31.25 in.) (all elements laid to a board; edge losses to cards in lower right corner; some cards with stains and perforations; overall light soiling); the second advertisement being, "A Royal Victor," presented behind glass in a wooden frame (DOA 22.5 x 35 in.) (Poor condition with numerous losses and stains).
