Rare old stock, approximately 200 labels. After the war, Southern cotton producers devised this theme label for bales of cotton for export, in an endeavor to regain foreigh markets. The label is a chromolithograph printed by Guggenheimer Weil & Co. Litho. of Baltimore between 1875-1904.
