Lot Details & Additional Photographs
The first is a large well cast sculpture of a gentleman holding a cane in Western style attire, it is signed by the artist to the side of the base and inscribed with the date Showa 16 (1940), Dec 14 (23 1/4 x 7 x 5 1/2 in.), and the second a smaller sculpture of a Japanese man in formal tailcoat attire, signed by artist to base (11 3/4 x 3 1/4 x 3 in.)

From the Collection of Michael Kim, Richmond, Virginia

Purchased in Japan, the largest sculpture came together with a card that states the figure is Shinzo Mitsuhashi, President of Mitsubishi from 1935-1945.

Good estate condition.
