England, circa 1830s, sarcophagus form with carved giltwood lion handles having brass rings, gadrooned trim to lid, opens to a divided interior comprised of four hinge lidded tea compartments, each retaining remnants of original tin lining, flanking two leather lined sugar wells, raised on brass ball feet, unsigned.
