Late 19th century, watercolor on ivory, the first after Philibert-Louis Debucourt's 1786 work "Les Deux Baisers" (The Two Kisses), illegibly signed to lower right (frame size 5 1/2 x 4 1/2 in.); the second depicting courting figures within an French Rococo salon interior, unsigned (frame size 5 1/2 x 7 3/4 in.), both presented behind glass in brass frames.

Some chips to edges of courting scene ivory; Debucourt painting backing adhered to ivory; areas of verdigris to frames.
