Alicia Suarez was born in South Africa and studied in Spain, where she exhibited widely and received a numerous of prestigious awards. Sine 2004, she has exhibited in New York, Berlin. Johannesburg, Edinburgh, Barcelona, Brooklyn and Strasbourg. She uses a combination of graphite and coffee based pigments to produce delicate portraits of figures and animals.
