Janette Grassi, originally from St. Louis, Missouri, is a Charlotte-based artist known for her abstract paintings, collages, and mixed-media works. A lifelong artist, she studied fine art at Webster College and later fulfilled her dream of attending the Rhode Island School of Design after raising her children. She launched her professional art career in Columbia, South Carolina, where she transitioned from graphic design to painting and held her first solo exhibition at Gallery 80808. Grassi has since participated in numerous exhibitions, created art installations, and explored diverse media including fiber and recycled art. Her work is held in both private and public collections, and she continues to create art full time.
