Abel Massot is a Cuban-born contemporary artist known for his expressionist works that convey the complexities of human form and its existence. He received a Bachelor's in Fine Arts from the Pedagogical Institute “Enrique José Varona” in Cuba. He further honed his craft at the Academy of Fine Arts, San Alejandro.

Massot's work has been featured in prominent exhibitions, including the Miami Art Basel and the Havana Biennial. Notably, his solo exhibitions at Gallery Bogart in Kansas City, such as Figurative Dialogue (2023) and Del mito, el rapto: Of the myth, The abduction (2023), have garnered significant attention. Massot's works are held in private collections across the United States, Colombia, Mexico, and Spain.
