Four Japanese Style Pottery Works, including George Peterson and Peter Bandtlow

The first two are hand-built tea bowls (chawan) with round foot and mirror black glaze, (tallest 3 in.) and a small green glazed earthenware incense container (kogo) (1 1/2 in.), all donated to Yale University by Peter Bandtlow, two are signed to the underside; the fourth a round ceramic kogo with attractive dark brown and celadon spotted glaze, impressed signature to the underside. (1 1/2 in.).

Sold to benefit the Yale University Art Gallery collection

Peterson work with cracks and repair; otherwise good condition.
