Serial number 994 present on bottom of frame, text of WHITNEYVILLE ARMORY CT. U.S.A. PAT. MAY 23, 1871 present on 3 1/4 in. engraved barrel, nickel plated engraved frame and cylinder, single action five shot revolver, walnut birds head grip scales.

Overall fair estate condition, missing section of the front strap, missing main spring which anchors to the front strap rendering the revolver not operational, engraving and plating in very good condition with some surface rust on side of cylinder, grips scale condition is excellent.
