Partial serial number 1128?? present on bottom of grip, single action five shot revolver, text of SMITH & WESSON SPRINGFIELD MASS. PAT. APR. 3.55 JULY 5.59 & NOV. 21 (un-discernible) present along top of barrel, engraved 3 1/2 flip up barrel, engraved frame , side plate and cylinder, dovetail rear sight with blade front sight, birds head grip scales.

Overall very good estate condition, blued surfaces remain quite healthy, engraving is somewhat crudely applied with light surface rust in the valleys, bore reveals rifling and substantial pitting, significant pitting at face of cylinder, hand will rotate cylinder somewhat consistently when cocking, light to moderate end shake present, side plate screw is a possible replacement, right grip scale shows evidence of repaired crack.
